Hey, hey, hey! Publicist Shawn Cremer here. It's October, Thespians, and with this month comes lots of fun! First to business though. If you plan on going to The Colorado State Thespian Convention, your forms and money are all due on Wednesday, October 5th. For those of you who didn't receive a payment sheet, here is the breakdown of what is due:
-Registration: (Everyone) $95
-Hotel: (Optional) $60
-I.E. Fee: (Per-person, per event) $20
-College Audition: (For seniors only) $30
-Scholarship Audition: (Seniors) $35
-Inductions: (For new or never officially inducted thespians) $15
-The State Thespian Conference Registration "Master Form"
-The Medical Release Form (Which needs to be notarized)
-The Excursion Forms (Consent to Emergency Treatment)
Remember that if you don't have ALL of these forms and fees on Wednesday, you will need to turn them in with a $5 late fee on Thursday or a $10 late fee on Friday.
Now on to the fun stuff, Hamlet is fast approaching! Opening night is October 13th at 7 PM. Get your tickets now! There is an understudy cast performance on Saturday, October 22 at 2 PM. It is a unique, exciting show, and many of your fellow thespians are a part of it! As Assistant Director, I can say that, for myself, it has, so far, been a very valuable and fun learning experience. The ensemble works fantastically together and all of the unique technical elements are absolutely stunning.
That's all for now folks! Get working on your I.E.'s and get ready for a great month!
