Hey Thespians! Ayla here. 

Yesterday, we had a really great Theatre Potluck. We did introduce some new things this year, but the main one I want to talk to you about is SPUHs. 
 
For those of you who were at the potluck, you will need to read the last part of this explanation. So don't skip it, por favor! 
So, what are SPUH's?
  •  SPUH stands for Special Person U Have. 
  •  It is a way to connect the major by every beginner, who signed up, to have a secret pen pal in the high school level. Their pen pal knows who the beginner is so they can give them gifts and reveal themselves to their new friend at the end of the year.                                                                                                                          
SPUH FAQ: 
  •   Why do we this? 
    •  To help break the idea that high schoolers and middle schoolers cannot bond together. 
    • To create solid friendships, no matter the grade. 
    • It is another great opportunity for high schoolers to lead, set an example, and mentor a younger theatre major! 
  •   What do I write to my SPUH?
    •  Anything you'd like! They are someone who is there for you that's not in your group of friends or in any of your classes, but will still be an understanding person to you. 
  • I am a high schooler, how can I talk to my SPUH and still remain secret? 
    •  You will come up with code names for each other so you can still talk to them and remain unknown to your SPUH. 
  • Is there room for more SPUHs?
