October post, suckaaaaaaz. Historian here. And let me tell you, there is a lot of history goin on. Haven't posted since before Millie opened. So. Great job Millie Cast, great job jurors cast, great job round one one act directors and actors, congrats to the casts of Eurydice and Flight. Here's what's happenin in the major:
Beginning:
6th: Makeup Unit with Shawn Hann. Julietta is a bear?
7th: Pantomime Unit with Becker. Watch these scenes. They're fantastic :)
8th: Improv Unit with Allison Watrous. What-whaaaat.
Intermediate:
9th: IPA and british dialect with Becker. [aI l^v ju gaIz] those are capital "i"s btw. not lowercase "L"s.
10th: Death of a Salesman/ Tech unit with Shawn. Saw some great model sets yesterday!
Advanced:
11th: Being One-Actors
12th: Allen, Baggett, Barr, Billings, Cantor, Carpenter: Audition unit with BriShea, Tim Grant, Allison.
Farmer, Foster, Fountain, Friesen-Johnson, Grider, Harmon: Directing
James, Johnson, Melendez, Pollitt, Rodgers, Scott: Anton Checkov unit with my Liege
NOTE: ALL students are rotating within levels. Woah!
Upcoming: inductions (11/2), State (12/somethin), Cabaret (11/somethin).

Hey Thespians! So what are we talking about now? Well since we've got the state registration mostly under our belt, we're focusing on getting the inductions shaped up to a lovely evening. Hey it's Samie again! I said I would be consistent with this! So what are we talking about this week?Well we're getting ready for state of course! This is our biggest event as a troupe and there is a lot of organizing that is involved. We're working out paperwork and making sure our rosters have everyone as official thespians and things like that. ARE YOU READY FOR SCHOOL!? Well, you should be because it will be amazing. I hope all of you are doing well and having a great year so far. Secretary Samie Here! Quick reminder: FIRST MANDATORY ALL-TROUPE THESPIAN MEETING THIS WEDNESDAY!!! BE THERE.So this school year started off wonderfully for the theatre department with the lock-in. Though it was an exhausting night, with absolutely no sleep, it was a very fun and productive night. Last week I began to talk about the amazing things that one can do at the annual International Thespian Festival. This week I’ll move on to discuss the plethora of opportunities that await each and every Thespian who attends.
