Hey there Thespians!
Nicki Seefried here, yo historian.
Just wanted to debrief on the past couple months and keep you updated on upcoming events!
Pajama Game closed over a month ago, and I think all cast members will agree that it was a wonderful experience. I, for one, left it with a favorite role. Special thanks to Mr. Becker for makin it happen!
Hamlet opened this weekend. If you haven't seen it be sure to catch it next weekend, whether it be the original cast or the understudy cast (10.22.11 at 2pm), both will be amazing.
Round one of ONE ACTS is comin' up next monday, the 24th. Be sure to try and catch them, and also to listen for upcoming round two. The directors are doing an amazing job so far! (Mine, directed by Samie Johnson, will be either around 2:00 or 2: 45, keep your eyes and ears open for updates).
Thespian Cabaret is coming up, November 9th, and I encourage everybody to audition! A sign up sheet for auditions, which will be held the 25th and 26th, is on the bulletin board outside of the black box.
Inductions are coming up as well. I hope all new thespians have contacted our officer board about whether or not you will be attending!
Lazertag, a wonderful thespian bonding experience, will be November 20th from noon to 4. It will be $15 for 2 games, and it will be exclusively our troupe! Sign up sheet will be up soon, also outside the black box. be sure to reserve your space before we fill up; only 30 people can play!
Thespians from other majors: continue to update us on your concerts/displays/events so that we can comes support you!
