GREETINGS!!!
It is I! Ryan Dean Maltz. Speaking of which, I'm thinking of possibly having my name at graduation pronounced Ryan Dean Maltz the First or Ryan Dean Maltz Esquire or Ryan Dean Maltz Jr. Esquire the Third... I can hear Thornton saying it out loud already
But that's besides the point. As I sit here on my green striped white couch with my Dell Latitude D810 on my lap, which is currently overheating and burning my upper thighs, I am typing up this blog...yeah...
The 2000 Panasonic TV in front of me produces The Big Bang Theory on its non-high definition screen. Not only am I the only person without a flat screen, but I also still use Windows XP...
By the way, The Big Bang Theory is an absolutely fantastic show. I was obsessed with it over break and will probably be my new show to watch when I come home, eat, and then fall asleep to.
Does anyone else do this? Come home. Eat. Nap. Wake up between 7 and 9. Do homework til about 12 or 1. Then go to bed again? ...well...I do.
What's my point? Watch The Big Bang Theory. It's wonderful. I know I'm like 4 years late on being a fan, but oh well.
So... I should probably talk about something Thespian related at this point...

I GOT A SHOWER RADIO FOR CHRISTMAS! It's set to Mix 100, so I can listen to Dom & Jane when I wake up. Yep.

Why am I here typing up a "Thespian" blog...
Because I decided I'm going to try to submit a play to Playworks for the National Thespian Conference.
It's what the very sexy Sam Van Wetter had the honor of doing last year during the Summer.
I've been thinking about it since last year and have had an idea for even longer and now I've finally decided I'm going to do it! I'm going to write my first every play!
I have to get it postmarked by February 1st though!!!! AHHHHHHHHH!!!! Less than a month! Why did I wait this long?????????
It needs to be about 30 pages long too! WHHHHAAAAATTTT?????
But I luckily do have a layout and pretty much know the plot and what I want to have happen. I JUST NEED TO START WRITING BUT I CAN'T BECAUSE I HAD TO WRITE THIS BLOG!!!
The play is fairly personal to me, but I will say that it's somewhat based around dreams.
And no. I'm not copying Inception.
But it's going to be important that I find time to write, which is going to be difficult, because of rehearsal and homework. BLEHHHHHHH
(Notice how I am using repeating cap locked letters. It indicates my stress, the significance, and surprise as well the word possesses. I hope it was used effectively.)
