Hello Thespians! 

These are the first All Troupe Thespian Meeting minutes from September 12th! 

All Troupe Meeting: September 12th, Lunch in the Black Box

 All Thespians who entered the Black Box during lunch were asked to fill in their contact information, like emails, phone numbers, graduation year, and finally their preferred t-shirt size. New and old members should have received and filled out point cards with the descriptions of the point system of the back of the paper. Thespians should also have information regarding the upcoming Cabaret and auditions, and Dues. 

 President Marlo began a slideshow about the following topics:

 

Attendance: you must come to all meetings. If you are sick or unable to make a meeting, please contact Ms. Hann or the Officers. However, if you miss two meetings intentionally, you will no longer be considered as a member of the Troupe. 

Where to find updates and information: Please check the Thespian Website, especially the Officer's Blog, the Calendar, or on the Theatre/Thespian Boards placed around the school (the Black Box location, especially). 

Fees: Thespian Dues ($25) are due October 3rd. Checks must be clearly labeled with name in print on the front, detail what the expense is for, and put your parent's name in the memo line. When we document your check, please keep the receipt for future referencing. 

State: The State Thespian Convention is December 6th-8th. Members will be able to perform up to two IE's, attend workshops, and see two main stage shows. Hotel information was also discussed. 

Fall Cabaret: Auditions will be held on September 25 and 26th and lunch in the Black Box, for high schoolers. There is currently a sign up sheet outside the black box. The performance will be on October 5th at 6 pm in the Black Box.

Major Representative Applications: Please email your applications by Monday, September 24th (the due date was extended). 

Next All Troupe Meeting: October 3rd, at lunch in the Black Box. Dues will be collected and keep track of your theatre/arts-related activities to add to your point cards!

The Thespian Officers (at our meetings on Mondays) have also been discussing how to advertise for Thespians of other majors, creating an email tree for the Troupe, increasing the Officer blog posts, and organizing the Thespian website! 

Please contact me if you need any clarification about the information that was communicated at the meetings. I will often be wearing my Officer t-shirt, so don't hesitate to pull me aside and ask some q's!
