As you all know Medea is being performed this week! When you come and see the show you can see the wonderful talents of the actors but let’s pause for a moment and talk about the designs. No show is complete without killer designs and Medea has nothing less. The designers have found a way to make this already powerful show even more moving.

Ok, well hello to all. This is your intermediate historian, Everett. This is my first of many blogs. I'm not sure exactly what to say so I will just talk about my Summer so far. I had a very busy Summer and things are now starting to slow down. First, I took a vacation. I came back for about a week then left to Maryland/D.C./Virginia for National History Day. If you are one of the many lucky thespians to have attended state convention, you have no idea what “nationals” is like. In Colorado we are confined to one location (albeit an extensive & large one). In Lincoln, the Festival is spread across the entire campus of University of Nebraska - Lincoln (UNL). Many people, including myself, disparage Lincoln as a tiny little town among the cornfields, which it somewhat is. However, the UNL campus is a diamond in the rough.

Perhaps this coming school year should be called the year of CHANGE. We all know its coming. There is a lot of change, and, with reason, a lot of fear to accompany it. Lets list some of the changes we can expect:

-Moss has switched departments. 

-Brett Scott has moved to the east cost.

-The schedule is changing so beginning, intermediate, and advanced are separate again. This is will in turn, change the curriculum
