 So now that we are approaching all sorts of Nationals details, we are currently focusing on our major fundraiser: Middle School Theatre Day! It's March 5th and you should all invite every single middle schooler that you know. 

 Also this Thursday, thespian laser tag, you're invited.Talk to an officer if you want to join us! It's $14 per person and we'll meet there at 5:40. It shall be awesome.

Also, keep in mind the spring cabaret is April 11th.

Hey it's Samie again! I said I would be consistent with this!

Well we're getting ready for state of course! This is our biggest event as a troupe and there is a lot of organizing that is involved. We're working out paperwork and making sure our rosters have everyone as official thespians and things like that.
We're also working on getting the inductions to be a lovely evening and working on all the details for that.

So this school year started off wonderfully for the theatre department with the lock-in. Though it was an exhausting night, with absolutely no sleep, it was a very fun and productive night. I feel like the major has gained a sense of connection that was wonderful to feel as we started off the school year! Besides seeing people lip-sync at four in the morning is just good fun. :)

Now first of all performing Urinetown for an audience of about 2,500 theatre-loving people was amazing. We got great feedback on our show, from the backstage crew to our fellow thespians; there was tons of positive buzz about our show.
