Hey Hey Hey it's your outreach officer Mei Mei Mei! Well, welcome back to school you crazy fool! Has it not been the most fun ever? I have to say the lock-in was just a pre-curser to the awesome times this year have in store. BTW- the lock-in, let's chat that up:
5 great things about the lock-in
1. I met sooooo many new theatre majors, and let me just say, they are really great kids!
2. I connected and reconnected with theatre majors I have been going to school with for a year or more, which was marvelous- there is so much you don't know about people! My middle school mentee is Madison Kitchen and I was very enlightened and joyous in our "getting to know you" conversation all high schoolers had with their mentees.
3. We got to really get aquatinted with Mr. Becker as a major- not only is he a glorious teacher, he showed us some of his killer dance moves as well.
4. I set new goals for myself this year through the "human museum". Who doesn't love new goals?
5. Finally, the lip synching competition! Our team (team Brittney) won the arrrrtful award for our jammin' portrayal of "Oops I did it again." When I was younger, I used to make up dances for that very song to show at dinner parties. I loved the blast from the past with my fellow Brittneys!

School has started now. I AM A SENIOR OH YEAH OH YEAH ALLLLLL RRRIIGGGGHHHTTTT 2011! This new year has brought up many new challenges, changes, and fears, and I'm excited to head straight into them with my senior self. I hope you all feel the same with your(underclassmen)selves. Remember: the biggest challenges will bring you the most growth and greatest rewards if you rise to them. Rise to it!

love love love, Mei Mei Pollitt, outreach officer
