Hey there, Thespians.

It has been far too long since I posted something on here and instead of doing things that I should be doing, I'm going to update all of you.

Tomorrow we kick off another great semester, which I'm sure feels more like a slow punch in the face after this gorgeous holiday we just had, but always keep your mind open and be prepared to finish off this really great year (or not so great, depending on your situation, nonetheless you deserve to end it fabulously).  Intermediate plays are going to be coming back in full swing. If you haven't heard what they are, the first play is The Children's Hour, the second is Museum, and the third is Top Girls. The Intermediate plays are steadily approaching so be sure to support the level and attend them!

Eighth grade play is also coming up and the class of 2016 is putting on The Pink Panther for us. Ms. Hann is directing it and our own Advanced Historian is the assistant director. I don't know about you, but I am pretty excited to see it.

Probably one of the most exciting things happening pretty soon this semester is our major field trip to go see Bring it On: The Musical.  From what I remember hearing in class awhile ago, we're seeing the national tour as it prepares for Broadway. And from what I gather from Zooey Deschanel's twitter/blog, it's pretty good. But I mean, that's only if you trust her opinion. And I can definitely see why she could be an iffy source.

Oh and before I go, I wanted to just remind all the SPUHs to please write their people. Whether it's beginners or high school majors, because I've actually heard from a lot of high schoolers that they're not getting written. Please, please, please remember  to email the official SPUH email: spuhhelp@gmail.com if you have any questions or concerns because it really is the most efficient and easy way to get a resolution, rather than talking to a TA.

Let's make this semester a great one, everyone!

Xx,
Ayla
