Hello Thespians, this is your first blog post by your very own Co-Outreach Officer, Jake Everhart! Huzzah! So some updates on thespianish things! As everyone previously stated, Nationals was awesome. Despite the fact that I got an ear infection, I saw some fantastic theatre, and participated in some fantastic workshops. I and really looking forward to next year (College Auditions-WHAT)
Now to some other theatrical exploits of mine. Some of you may know that I was in a production of Floyd Collins in June, with Broadway in Boulder Studios. It is an excellent show, a true story of a caver in Kentucky who gets trapped, and i highly recommend you see it if there is a production near you. Now, as you also may know, I am in rehearsals for The Pajama Game! Our all-school-musical of 2011! Be sure to get tickets and come (and I think its required, anyway). The rehearsal process is very exhilarating, because we don't have that much time. And yet, the whole show is now blocked because we're all fast learners and the show itself is very easy-going and enjoyable. You will be sure to see me the week of the show, wearing my Pajama Game Pajama Pants. Because I am cool that way!
